Previous Post

So- I can't believe that I posted that last one, but oh well. What's a girl to do when she blabs a little too much! FYI, I have yet to seen The Dark Knight so I don't even know why I was dreaming about the Joker. Brent and I did watch Batman Begins last night and can I say that Christian Bale is YUMMY! Who doesn't love a man with a plastic six pack?!!

The Joker vs. "James Bond"

OK... I am going to admit something I'm not sure if I should be ashamed of quite yet. :) The other night I had a dream that I totally made-out with "The Joker" My dream started that I was terrified of him, but as soon as he kissed me WOW! It was good. Anyway we went to Mamma Mia last night and the ever good looking (even though he is super old) Pierce Brosnan was in it singing his heart out. I should have snuck into The Dark Knight to watch my "lover!" haha... Don't worry, I told Brent about it and he just laughed. What can I say, with all of that creepy make-up who wouldn't want to kiss those bloody lips! Yummy!!! :) Who would you want to kiss!?

Old Home Bakery!

I don't know how many of you go to the Old Home Bakery (I think that is what it is called) that is on the Boulevard. I had never been there before, just saw all of the cheap signs about their buns being on sale and such. Anyway, I stopped by one day and let me tell you. They have some nice cheap buns! And bread for that matter. I bought 7 bags of buns for $5.05. That is roughly 70 cents a bag plus tax. Plus, we only had to scrape mold off half of the buns! (totally kidding). Anyway, they are Sara Lee buns, bread, and other goodies. I have also seen Grandma Sycamore's bread, chips, and HUGE Otter Pops! The bread that I love that is usually $3.00 at Wal-Mart is only $1.50 there. I could hardly believe it! There is a cute old man that works there as well that makes it worth the trip! Anyway, I just thought I would give the store a plug, because it rocks! (even though you have to drive to the middle of town to go there)!

Chompers!

Our little man finally has his two bottom teeth!!! I swear he has been teething for three months and I am so glad that they are here (as I'm sure he is as well)! It is so weird to see them! Kenna didn't get her first tooth until she was almost one so to have them at 6 months is quite an accomplishment! Way to go Gav!

Happy Late B-Day Pops!

Well, its been one week since my dad turned the big 5-0! Thats right... he is 50!!! I can't believe it. He still has some of his hair and not all of it is even gray! :) I love my dad. So Dad, here is my ode to you!!! Enjoy...

Dad oh Dad you are so cool
Because you always swim with Kenna in the pool
We all think you make some funnies
even when you are shooting little bunnies
You think vanilla pudding is the bomb
And thank you for marrying my sweet Mom!
You are always so nice to others
and like to chill with my two brothers!
Happy late Birthday to my rad Dad,
and thanks for rarely getting mad!

My favorite place on Earth!

We went to Lake Powell last week and had a BLAST! I'm so sad that we are back. I absolutely love Powell. I love the anticipation of gettng there, the drive, the smell (except the bathroom), the sun... everything! I could ride on the ski boat all day long (and did before I had children to worry about). I'll even hold the flag all day (as long as my dad is driving) just so I can stay on it. I have gone every summer since I was two and dream about it on a regular basis (seriously)! Kenna loves it too. We usually stay on the houseboat, but since there were 40 of us this year we decided to hotel it and let me tell you, that is the way to go! I loved being able to organize my bags at night (I know I'm weird), clean Gavin's bottle, and not worry about bats flying in my hair. I didn't even care that I got to shower and shave my pits (it was wonderful though), but we were all refreshed to go to the boat the next mornng. I could have stayed for three weeks doing it that way (if I didn't have to pay for the hotel!) Makenna loved the tube, jumping off the houseboat, swimming and Faithe! She followed my 12 year old cousin around the whole time! She was really patient with Kenna though so it was fun! Gavin slept about 1 hour each day and that was it, but he barely made a peep! He was so good! Brent fished a lot and finally got to relax a little bit, and I got to hang out and eat all the junk my mom brought and drink Diet Pepsi! It was so fun and I can't wait until we get to go back! Enjoy the pictures!

White Trash

I bought Makenna a new nightgown the other day and let her wear it that afternoon. After she put it on she asked, "Mom, do I look like white trash!?" Seriously. I swear I have never said she looks like what trash before!

6 months old!

Well our little Gavy is now 6 months old! Here are a few of his "milestones"!

1. He is 16 lbs 12 oz (50% percentile)
2. He is 26 inches (50% percentile)
3. He sits up all by himself! (hallelujah!)
4. He has his two bottom teeth coming through (YAY!)
5. He sleeps from 8:00 PM-5:30 AM most nights (double YAY!)
6. He knows how to roll over from back to front but he hates his stomach so he never does it.
7. He smiles at everyone! (especially his sister)
8. He picks things up and puts them to his mouth.
9. He loves his fruits, veggies, and rice cereal (Kenna does not!)
10. He "talks" quite a bit and has a cute raspy voice!

We love you Gav!

Copy Cats!

This is what Brent and I do before we go to bed every night!

PS. Go to minute 4:30 and look at his flippin' abs!!!

Oh Happy Day!

As of 2:09 PM today, this is what is happening at my house:

Camryn on the couch

Makenna on her floor
Gavin in his bed (he loves blankets on his face, but I do move them)

I better hop in the shower before they wake up!

The Perfect Day

On Saturday Brent and I weren't exactly sure what we were going to do since he had "work" off. And what I mean by work is he wasn't going to the haunted house. So we decided to go fishing up in Kolob thinking it was only a 1/2 hour away or so. Well, it wasn't but both kids slept most of the way, we were all relaxed, the weather was GORGEOUS (73 degrees) and the fishing was, well... I don't even know if you could call it that, but Kenna sure had fun with her Dora fishing pool as she calls it. It was a blast so I'm sure we'll be doing it again!

Fourth of July

Don't you love these outfits!? Brent and I are borrowing them for the Fourth of July so watch out people! Aren't they cute?!

THREE KIDS!?! AHHHHH!

(sorry so long)

After having Gavin I have often thought "This is why people only have two kids" One for each parent! I can't imagine what people do with more than two! I am just barely feeling like I can function and leave my house and Gavin is almost 6 months old. So what am I going to do with three?! No, I am not pregnant THANK GOODNESS! I honestly would have a panic attack and more anxiety than I already do. But Makenna's best friend/cousin moved last week and ever since then she has told me "I want to go to Camryn's house and watch Aladdin" "I want to see Camryn" So I was talking to her mom on Monday and she was stressed out so I volunteered to take her until Thursday when my brother would take her back. Her dad brought her down (from SLC) because he had to work here for a day and let me tell you, having two two year old "twins" and a six month old baby is CRAZY! On top of that, Brent has been working out at the haunted house each night so I have been winging it by myself! This is how it has gone (for those who care).

MONDAY NIGHT: Camryn shows up at 9:30 PM (Kenna had been playing in her bed for an hour) and all went crazy. They screamed and hugged like that hadn't seen each other for a year. They ran around the table and played for about a 1/2 hour and then I tried to get them to bed. Camryn ended up sleeping on the couch (her choice) and Kenna fell asleep on her floor (her choice).

TUESDAY
2:00 AM: Camryn wakes up crying. I put her back on the couch and she goes back to sleep.

4:30 AM: Makenna wakes up crying. I find her flashlight and porcelain temple she sleeps with and goes back to sleep.

5:30 AM: Gavin wakes up crying. I feed him and he goes back to sleep.

7:03 AM: I hear talking in Makenna's room and head in there. She comes running out in her swimsuit asking for her sunscreen! I told her she had to go to bed the night before so we could go swimming. Obviously she remembered.

7:45 AM: The screaming starts again! Camryn wakes up and the giggles, screams and laughs start!

We went swimming in the morning, naps at lunch, visit Grandma Staheli and then off to my parents to go swimming again! We got home and they went to bed pretty easily. Once again, Camryn on the couch and Kenna on her bedroom floor. The sleep was about the same and then here comes Wednesday morning.

7:30 AM: The screaming, crying and fighting starts! I figure they are totally sick of each other and we head off to park day at 9:45. They fight over a towel the whole time and want to leave about 10 minutes after we got there! We leave and then I try to get them to clean up the house that they have destroyed.

We head to McDonalds and Jill saves my sanity! Heather, Rachel and Leesa all show up and we had a great time chatting while the kids play and had a lot of fun. I took Camryn to my grandma's house to get away and some relief from Kenna. They are a lot like a husband and wife. They fight and then they are the best of friends 2 seconds later. That or sisters. This is the funniest thing I have heard them say to each other.

CAMRYN: "I want my mommy!"
KENNA: "No, your mom is in Salt Lake"

We have her for one more full day and it honestly hasn't been TOO bad! She keeps Makenna entertained for the most part. They both have gotten baby food in their mouths for screaming and not stopping (I know I'm so mean) and Gavin is definitely ready for that to stop! He jumps every time one of them screams. Our poor ears!
