BORED...
That is what I am right now. I don't even have anything to blog about. How am I bored!? I'm not exactly sure. I cleaned my house last night at 11:00 PM because I had too many Diet Pepsi's so that was done. My dinner is already cooking, my kids are sleeping and we have already been swimming today. I have seen the 2 foot weeds in my backyard that my husband was supposed to pull three weeks ago, but I really don't want to go out there and fry my white body because it is still over 100 degrees here. Hmmm, am I boring you yet?! I could organize my baby clothes, but they are too high in my garage for me to reach. Maybe I"ll go try and make some bows. Later
Man Trip '08
Brent and some of his buddies packed up early Thursday morning and took off for the annual Man Trip that Mike puts on. Brent was a rookie this year, but he loved every second of it. He even came home with a migraine they partied so much! (maybe it was a Diet Coke hangover) Either way, if you want to see the crazy guys go to www.mymantrip.blogspot.com and check out the sweet video Mike put together! Thanks Mike for taking pictures... at least one of you is responsible!

HUH?!
I know that I have done about 15 posts today but I have one more for the day... I have been watching the Olympics (more on that later) but tonight I have watched the gymnastics and the commentator with Bob Costas, Bela Carolyi has been commenting on all of the gymnasts and I'm wondering if its me, or does this guy not speak a lick of English?! I only could understand the word combination in his conversation. I don't know if its just late or what, but man, I just hear a bunch of blah blah blah combination blah blah blah! Anyway, I'm out!
Happy Birthday to Makenna?!?
Well I have a birthday nut on my hands. This month so far Makenna has been to three different birthday parties and she absolutely loves it! Every time we play with Play-Doh we sing Happy Birthday to her (very loudly so if you are walking by and hear a dog barking, it is probably just me attempting to sing) and then her blowing out her pretend candles. She sings the song to Gavin every day, and randomly tells people that it is her birthday. Sometimes she will tell people her birthday is after Christmas (which it is) or give them her actual birthday. Yesterday we went to Hunters birthday party and was talking about her b-day after Christmas so I thought that we would have her a birthday party for her (since it was the 13th and only 5 more months until the actual day). I made some cupcakes and decorated one for her, stuck candles in it and Gavin, her and I sang Happy Birthday to her! She was so excited that today she was telling me all about how it was her birthday and that she was three now. She didn't care she didn't get any presents so maybe I'll be off the hook for her real birthday! So Happy Birthday to you Kenna Brooke!
Also, Grandpa and Grandma Hukill: HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you guys! We love you guys and hope you have many more birthdays to come!!!

SMLR in Park City
First off SMLR is pronounced SMELLER. It stands for Sara, Mindy, Lyndsi, Robyn. This was our "club" in high school. Now it seems like most girls have issues no matter what in high school, but we never did. It was great and I have never found friends again quite like them. It doesn't matter how long it has been since we've seen each other, it is always the same when we are together except we aren't quite as obnoxious as we were back in high school (one could only hope at least).
This past weekend I drove up to Park City and had a blast with my girls. I left early Friday morning, (Kenna came with me because I dropped her off at Camryns) and Gavin was hanging with Brent for the weekend. We got up to Salt Lake about 11:30 and so I dropped Kenna off and got to go to Ikea by myself for about 45 minutes before I headed up to Salt Lake to pick up Robyn. Since Sara was still working she was meeting the rest of us up in Park City. Rob and I ate lunch at a yummy Vietnamese restaurant and headed to Bountiful to help Mindy look for wedding dresses! It was pretty fun and then we headed off to Park City.
Robyn got an amazing deal at The Canyons Grand Summit Hotel, so we checked in and went to our suite. It was super nice and big, but Mindy wanted to see the honeymoon suite and let me tell you, it was absolutely GORGEOUS and HUGE!!! It was only $1200 for the night so we thought about renting that one instead! Ha. Sara finally arrived and we got ready and headed for dinner. Once we got a Rice Krispy treat for Robyn (she got low) we found the restaurant Robyn suggested (we only had to walk 2 miles) we ate and enjoyed ourselves there. Even though we were completely stuffed we stopped at the 7-Eleven and bought 2 pints of ice cream, Diet Cokes, chips, salsa and a few other items we headed back to the room to get ready for the hot tub.
We got hit on by 10 year olds, and then we got to the hot tub literally 2 minutes before it closed so we got in, got out and headed for the junk. We talked and goofed off until 2:00 AM and went to bed. Unfortunately we only slept until 8:00 and then ate our breakfast (Cookie Dough ice cream) and went back to the hot tub for a little bit. We got ready and ate our second breakfast, checked out and got back to SLC by 11:30 AM. I got to shop for 45 minutes and then had to go get Kenna so I could be back to St. George by 6:00 PM to babysit!
It was a great trip and hopefully we can do it more often! (put your mouse on the picture for descriptions if you care) which I'm sure no one really does!!!

Swimming Level 1
So Makenna has officially passed Level 1 swim. Her teacher was one of my little brothers friends (and also his mission presidents niece) Stephanie. Kenna was the youngest swimmer there and did great! She has done so well this summer with swimming. She knows how to swim without floaties or her life jacket as long as she can touch every once in awhile. She can float on her stomach and back, reach for things on the bottom of the shallow end and she has even learned how to dive in the water. It is crazy. I'm sure she will be the next Michael Phelps. Just kidding. She really is a good little swimmer though for only being 2 1/2! She has absolutely no fear of water and I'm not sure if that is a good thing quite yet. Go Kenna. I can't wait for Level 2.

I need serious help!
I cannot finish/put down Breaking Dawn. I want to finish it so badly for the mere purpose of moving on with my life. I feel like I have to hurry and finish this post because Edward is waiting for me. I like the book alright, but man, I wish I could just finish it so I can function like a normal human being! I have loads of laundry that needs to be folded (at least its clean) spots on my floor that need to be mopped, rocks in the front entry way that Makenna hauled in that I haven't made her pick up yet, mail to open and my stomach to feed, but for some reason I can't put the book down, or finish it for that matter! It is driving me nuts! My goal is to finish the book tonight so that I can do some actual posts, watch a bit of the Olympics, and finally clean my house! I'm a horrible mother and wife right now, but its OK because Brent is gone and my kids are asleep. If only I were a vampire and could do all of this quickly.
